Join SouthPark neighbors for a ribbon-cutting cere Join SouthPark neighbors for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the newly completed Backlot Trail on Tuesday 10/24 at 11:45 am! The SouthPark Association of Neighborhoods is organizing the event - refreshments provided!

The completion of the first trail segment included a .3-mile greenway trail that runs from the end of Woodbine Lane to Park Rd. and two new pedestrian traffic signals and crosswalks. The project was funded by our CNIP bond.

City Councilman Bokhari and Commissioner Meier will be on hand to provide a few brief remarks. Canceled if inclement weather.

To get to the event:

By Car: Park at Park Road Park (use the middle parking lot south of the pond) and walk across the street to the trail entrance on the east side of Park Road. You also can park at Park Road Park Tennis Courts and walk north to the trail entrance. Do not park on Woodbine Ln. Look for balloons and directional signage to guide you.

By Bicycle: You can use the Woodbine Lane entrance (located off of Park Dr. South). The event site is approximately .2 miles down the trail, near the Park Rd. entrance. Look for balloons and directional signs to guide you.
